Fawcett Fields Kids Fishing Day April 1st, 2023
After Friday night and early Saturday rain and thunderstorms the clouds parted and the sun came out for the kids fishing day.
By the start at 8am the temps were already starting to rise and the kids were streaming in ready to start fishing.
The fishing was a bit slow early on but picked up as the morning progressed. Kids caught trout and some creek chubs on worms, meal worms and power bait.
Despite the uncertain weather we had a great turnout and even a surprise guest as WPXI sent out a reporter to record the event. You can check out a video of their coverage here.
